An anonymous beauty...

Hi all,
just a set of pictures to present you one of my last catch.
An anonymous valjoux 22 from early 40'.
I'm totally in love with this oversize stepcase and this beautiful gilt dial.

Best
Douglas

I think it is a wonderful watch with a lot of charm. Sometimes a wake up call that it is not only about these high end pieces... thx, Dirk

We find between the 30s and the 40s beautiful products. Watchmaking was utility, production quality was important.. Anyway, At this time, the notion of factory does not mean much, we talk more in case manufacturer, dial and movement. Best. Doug

. . . and strangely compelling, too; the mystery about its origins makes it all the more interesting. Any clues as to the manufacturer? Art
