Bit of a pictorial - day trip & came across the Greenwich meridian again, but most definitely not in Greenwich!
There’s a train that goes over it too!
Finally - this is obligatory, no matter what the weather when you go to the coast

Ah Cleethorpes….
Once helped manage an oil and chemicals terminal there…. It was like steeping back in time down the seafront and in the hotels. Can’t say the muddy-looking beach appealed much. How come you visited?
Beach definitely more muddy than sandy!
Never been & realised it was easy by train, thought I'd go before the Easter mayhem! Have to say some of the train back was interesting! Cheers JML
I think its funny how the British moved the prime meridian..
About 20’ when they got a new telescope at the observatory and it didn’t fit in the old building. So they built a new building next to the old one and moved the prime meridian so it went down the middle of rhe new telescope mount. 😂
