i took advice from the forum and put my 4mp P & S on

a tripod using the self timer to avoid any shake. my pics are a lot better but not to this standard. i like a pic that you can use as a whole watch and also zoom in to show a portion of the dial. that shows you've got the pic 'just right'.

I guess at some point an SLR will come into play. But I don't think a bad photographer with a good camera will come ahead. A more complicated camera actually makes shots sometimes harder. So all the point and shoot warrior don't an SLR will solve anything...
