which is kind of outstanding (at least) for Germany. Marco Lang is an AHCI member since 2005. Marco Lang and his small team produce less than 50 watches per year. There are only a very few parts needed from suppliers. Those parts are finished with an almost “crazy” attention to the detail (if you ask the business economist in me), until they fit to their L&H style.
Just look at the parts shown below and you get an first idea about what they are doing in-house.
Cases, dials, screws, hands, wheels, bridges … and everything to the highest level.
As an example which is quite often ordered from a supplier, I have chosen a “simple” buckle.
Screws … even the fishing of only one need about 45 minutes, but this is a (average) production goal not reached yet.
As this post is not dedicated to L&H, I won´t go in more detail here.
Instead I would like to show you one of my favorite examples from their collection, the Markgraf Heinrich.
The frosted finished dial made of massive silver with roman numerals, power reserve indication, central second, anterograde central date and cathedral hands in blued steel, what is not to like here?! Simple yet sophisticated is what comes to my mind.
The hand winding caliber V is a marvel with superb features.

Note: If you ever get the chance to listen to it, you will notice that there is one tack after all five ticks J
In the next two pictures I tried to show you the mechanic of the remontoir on top of the escape wheel, which is one of the special features here.
Look at the sunburst decoration and the all-over finish, isn´t it nice – to say the least.
On my wrist it felt and looked just perfect:
This is not the only watch I really like to say the least, but it was not always like this. A few years ago I found them interesting but didn´t really understand the product and what is behind. Today I appreciate them even more and great value for the money is only one reason
