lest on and all forget...a short dose of history

Malmaison was built with the spoils of Napoleans Egpytian adventures, and was lavish even in this days.it was also Empress Josephhine home maintained with a Fr5m divorce stipend from the State.

Anyway, its a spectacular place, the shop I mean. Very original, and its beyond lavish...there is a dose of class.

Btw, those not in the know Frederic Malle customize perfumes to suit your NEEDS, be it seduction or temptation. They could customise a fragrance for the Hour Glass staff with these perfumes....I recommend customers wear a face mask to avoid being seduced or tempted!!

Jokes aside...with this new outfit, I can now demonstrate my individualism, OR THE LACK OF IT, by wearing Romain Gaultier watch, with matching leather belt from Roland Iten, and shoes from Pierre Corthaywith its unique sheen, and now smell like a million bucks...and FEEL like it with Frederic Malle scents. How did I live my life before this!!??

Best,

Horo

Malmaison just threw open its red doors and I was lucky enough to get a tour. Situated on a prime site in Knightsbridge mall along Orchard Road, it is the first "luxury emporium" in Singapore. Run by one of S. E. Asia's largest watch retailers, The Hour G...

you need to visit the store to see it. And I am sure Pierre Corthay can make a pair of bespoke shoes in red set with bling bling. - SJX

sumptuous!

Wow! Despite all my travels to many of the world's most premiere shopping destinations, I've never seen such a store with so much character and uniqueness. I guess no such store has ever been opened because it is so unlikely that such a store can be profi...

A museum

That is an apt description. It is not specifically a museum, but interesting enough to be worth a trip to see. - SJX

A treasure chest...

Museum may not be the right word, strictly speaking it is not the right word. Keep in mind, may powerful rulers and powerful families have had deep passions for collecting art and other objects of vertu. The larger versions of these collections and the pi...

I like that the layout is reminiscent of a house with many different rooms. I wonder if Nicolas knows they've stolen his shoes and are selling them? "Satan" shoes? Hysterical! LOL! Thanks for the report and pictures! Cheers, Daos

Very interesting...

Thanks SJX. This looks very interesting and I'm looking forward to having a gander. I guess with a name like Malmaison it was always going to be more continental in flavour. Certainly Singapore has plenty already from the Empire, so there is something to ...

They've done an amazing job with the L'Atelier and with this one seems that it is so much more than that... Thank you for sharing SJX! Best, Sam

Just been there today during lunch and had a personalized tour too.
