pics of yours Cen and the dial is superb, but i still think the black discus is the tops. i love mine and the only dissenting adult i've heard from is Amanico which is fine as its all a matter of taste. i saw the recent post on the white discus and the wrist shot made it look a lot lot nicer than it looks in other pics, but i've spent all my money on having my house walls replastered so cant buy one sad  (or the Royal orient i had in mind ) at the moment anyway.

the other model in the collection is a solar powered one which doesnt interest me much, especially after the post on eco-drives smile

with regard to some who find the discus strap too big, i've just ordered a 20mm python skin strap which i'll put on my discus just to see how it looks. i bought it for another watch, but it will be interesting to see if a strap without curved ends looks ok or not. with the creamish and dark brown/black markings of the python it will change it from stealth to fairly loud, but might well be good. we'll have to wait and see.

as there is now a Rolex forum, whats the chance of a 'far eastern forum' which can include seiko, orient, sea-gull and others. with all the posts on GS, orient, campanolas etc there seems to be more interest in these brands than some of the forums that are already in place.

anyway, no need to cry Cen as you bought the watch that appealed to you most so you must like it more than the others.

Well since a lot has been written about the Discus, I won't write no more and just present you with these pictures. One thing that has to be noted is that after I bought the Discus an unusual phenomena has happened to me: I passed on Calabrese and Schaeur...

Seems the forum has a bit of Discus fever...

I've only been away for 6 weeks and in that time quite a few of the members have been afflicted. I've yet to see one - but I'm sure Bill will oblige.

I think Bill has half the production

Cen, your pics are not bad .... take more you will get it. Nice Concave dial piece...ok waiting to see. The red cushions looked good with the full-black watches....did you intentionally match it that way? Kong

I used a basic point and shoot camera with no macro lens. I just resisting the urge to buy a good camera, cause i won't take it for travelling (too bulky) and only use it to take pictures of my watches. So another accessory for the watch? I better use the...

WoW!
