We will be celebrating our 10th Anniversary at our IGOTT2 event in Las Vegas on May 30 - June 2, 2011, so please celebrate with your fellow PuristS if you can make it!  IGOTT2 Registration announcement here:  >>  CLICK HERE  <<

Here are live pictures and video of the PuristSPro MB&F HM3 Chocolate Frog PuristS 10th Edition watch.  This is the 1st watch we have announced for the PuristS community's 10th Year Anniversary.  Picture are in no specific order and are just in reverse chronological order shot-by-shot.

I had the opportunity to test drive the watch on my wrist for 5 days.  This was the 1st time I've ever wore any MB&F Horological Machine on my wrist for an extended period of time, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!  I caught people looking at my wrist while at restaurants, and even one waitress commented "That's a cool watch.  What kind is it?"

Some quick observations on the Chocolate Frog:

- Rotor spins extremely efficient.  Hands down THE most efficient rotor I've ever seen (proof is in below video).

- The brown PVD color has many different shades of brown at various lighting conditions and angles which I tried to capture in the below photos.

- The domed hour and minutes display did not cause any discomfort or awkwardness on the wrist.

- Love the dark brown strap w/ contrasting brown stitching.  [Correction: strap is indeed black but can look dark brown in certain angles]

- Having the Choc Frog on a brown croc strap tones it down and makes it less formal and perfect to wear with business casual attire.  For a more format look, I'd dress it up with a black croc strap.  [Correction: strap is indeed black but can look dark brown in certain angles]

- When the watch is on your wrist, you'll see the rotor spinning a lot, and it's very eye-catching IMO.

- The brown PVD coating will appear as if it is oxiding and developing a patina, but it is simply dirt and oil on the PVD coating.  Just wipe the watch with a slightly damp microfiber towel, and the patina goes away.

- Deployant buckle is the same spring loaded deployant found on Richard Mille's.  What's great about this deployant is it's wide which greatly improves wearability and comfort.

- My wrist is 6.75" and I use the 1st hole on the strap.  Size-wise, wearing the Chocolate Frog feels like wearing a 44mm Panerai on the wrist IMO.

Cheers,
Anthony
