Jocke's photography caught my eye the first time I saw one of his glashutte original shots. I continue to be impressed, and more and more curious about how he takes those amazing photos. Great also to hear his perspective on collecting and what he admires...

Yes his Glashutte pictures are equally impressive

I think many people share similar sentiments.

The Man behind the lense - or the mystery man

 By: Bill : April 27th, 2015-07:23
In both cases a passionate watch guy with the skills of a surgeon and eye of Ansel Adams. Great member of the community. Bill

You are always modest but the compliment is truthful.

It has been a pleasure over all these years 2006 and beyond to enjoy your pictures and great technical reports. Best Bill

. . . Jocke's camera equipment was quite modest until relatively recently. It's only been in the last few years that he's been using an SLR with a dedicated macro lens; prior, it was a Nikon Coolpix that served his purposes. I've said this before, and it ...

It was only a few years since I start using DSLR. You can still do a great work with a CoolPix but you can control a DSLR better and that is the secret to learn how the camera work and how the lightning affect the result. I often get mails from guys that ...
