I can't even start imagining what it is like to be a watchmaker for 45 years since the age of 15!  Now THAT is life-time dedication.

Thank you for that. It is very instructive to see that movement assembly is not always just like building something out of Lego. Too often it seems that we focus here somewhat obsessively on surface finishing, anglage etc ("finish fetish"), so it is a goo...

Although he gave me a tour of just an hour, it take at least one day to do what he did in front of me.

Is the Caliber 68 only used for Credor, or other Seikos too?

...hehehe, you are confused me with Stephen? I am Japanese. I have lived in NY for 17 years in total and came back last year. I was born and raised in Japan, but after college most of my life was spent overseas. So, hopefully, I speak native Japanese, heh...
