Répétition Minutes Tourbillon GMT Antipode
By: Hororgasm : September 16th, 2010-10:27
is a really awesome piece...the chiming is loud and clear....housed in WG and titanium case. but alas...the prices are accordingly so astronomical. had the pleasure of fondling it, yes...fondling...as opposed to wearing, the AD wouldnt let a evidently can...
Good input ...

from a veteran on the chiming Too many people, could not record it for the friends here. If you just seen it last week, the reason could be the piece is reserved, thus they were extremely careful with it. Kong
thks
By: Hororgasm : September 17th, 2010-00:17
i heard i over dinner with a 3 piece smooth jazz bandabout 5m aways, and the chiming is still loud and clear. in that environment, thats abt all one can ask for.

By: Hororgasm : September 17th, 2010-14:31

Which was going to be how DeWitt was going to handle the collapse of BNB as their tourbillon supplier. That new in-house movement looks quite nice, a bit more classical than the somewhat over-the-top tourbillons of the past... A

to be of value-added Seems like DeWitt capabilities have grown. Even can manufacture own hairspring (if I heard correctly while snapping away) The new Calibre looks good and the wave-like pattern on the rotor is pretty smart, sort of using sinusoid to cha...
Hmmm, yes
By: aaronm : September 17th, 2010-14:10
That rotor in the video was intersting, quite a change from the simple gear system of the Bucherer. This design looks like an inside-out Pellaton to me.... A
Thanks!

Quite my attitude and impressions!

Kong did some glorious work. But your writing did more for me than the whole presentation ! As always just inside or outside the Door, amerix

For the inputs. Now with the DW8014, we shall wait to see their 'trim down' pieces next year However, some of the "richer and more wholesome" pieces may be needed for certain segmentation. After all it is a business. Kong
Jump seconds is one of my favorite complications...
By: dxboon : September 17th, 2010-00:18
...so the new caliber is VERY interesting to me! The video was fantastic and I loved seeing animations of the peripheral rotor. Fascinating really. With DeWitt presumably launching watches using the new caliber shortly, and Tim and Bart Grönefeld debuting...
Thanks Ms "Jump-Second" :-)
By: Kong : September 21st, 2010-03:51

By: dxboon : September 21st, 2010-07:00
No regrets about buying the Habring 2 . Although, these last few weeks have been wearing my AP RO, so right now everyone else is resting in the watchbox. Cheers, Daos
I like the bicycle chain!
By: ling5hk : September 17th, 2010-03:46
As evident, DeWitt is very serious in watchmaking. Regards Ling
Definitely in the game ...

Also a fully-owned company, so they can independently. The aesthetic may not be a bit 'loud' to some, anyway, we shall see what's next in their collection. Thanks for viewing. Kong

The Academia Quatieme Perpetuel GMT Nebula is nice! Does that come closer to your liking? Kong
Hi.
By: VMM : September 22nd, 2010-01:45
Hi Kong. The Nebula? not my favorite, busy dial (to me). My fav by far is the Academia Tourbillon Differentiel, its dial looks great. The WX-1 looks stunning in terms of design and construction. It would look great on Kenneth Branagh' or Will Smith' wrist...
