thanks pplater, i didnt realise there were so
many. its a shame they seem to be copying others when the spaceship was so
unique(i hope), but there is a limited number of fun watch styles you can have i
suppose.

i actually have a tourbillon but its a chinese
one branded by Roberts in Germany so i keep it hidden :)

after Jockes superb post about Gustaffson and
friends, i've been in touch and they've priced me a custom dragon watch which is
very well priced, just need to find some funds. its got everything i designed,
single hand, rotating pearl sub second, gold dragon with their damaskeen steel
dial as background. the gold case and dragon will be their pvd which an engraver
friend of theirs will work on to finish the dragon.

strangely, everyone i've contacted, RGM,
GOwatches and Tourby have all come up with the same price bracket using a simple
Unitas movement.

this year i hope.

best

With the Franck Muller version, you just press the button which protrudes from the crown, and the curvy hand spins around like no tomorrow. Release the button and the hand stops. The Azimuth has its own design style but seems a little chunky from the pict...

..one more to add to an entire sub-genre - Perhaps if we take guidance from one of these we might be able to produce the necessary funds to acquire that elusive tourbillon, or dragon watch ;-) Cheers, pplater. [photo crdits embedded in URLs]...
