Horological Meandering

Because of a few changes in my life i decided to buy a special watch. After giving to a lot of thought I finally decided which watch was going to be my ‘special watch’. Not that making the choice was difficult, but I wanted to be really, really sure about...

I lately have been finding too that somehow the last few watches I have gotten are more than just the usual pickup at the AD/await shipment from Fedex kind of a scenario. And yes, it makes a HUGE difference in the feelings one associates with the watch. S...

Wow. I really like the dial on that. What is is made of?

The dial is actually really something special, not only visually but also the finishing. It exists of three layers and the skelletonized layers have 200+ holes that all have to be hand finished... I guess this dial is one of the most expensive dials aroun... 

i can understand the attraction to independent manufacturers. they are different, often unusual with a very personal service you dont get with the multinationals. enjoy it Graham

The cool thing is, i have heard some many different opinions about the dial of the Korona K1. Someone saw resemblance with the Big Ben, someone else with the Chrysler Building, a few friends also spoke about an 'industrial look', i've read the comment 'ba...
