The Seiko Credor Eichi
Dec 18, 2011,02:50 AM
After KIH's great post on the VFA, I thought to post these. This is a marvellous watch in terms of construction and finishing, without a doubt one of the top today. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

Is that an enamel dial? Some emphasis on the mainspring barrel on the movement - a long PR? Thanks for sharing these beautiful pics of this top line Credor with us mate. : ) Best regards Fernando
The dial is Noritake porcelain

And the Spring Drive movement has a torque return system that "recycles" some of the excess torque generated by the mainspring to give it a few extra hours of power reserve. - SJX
I agree with you SJX

Seiko Shiojiri confirmed

That they have discontinued the Eichi. No info on how many made in total, nut I think Ken's estimate of 20 is not far off.
Thank you, Peter!

...For those who got confused.... Suwa=Seiko Epson=Shiojiri... "Suwa Seiko-Sha" is the origin of today's "Seiko Epson" and "Shiojiri" is the name of the place where the factory is located today. Btw, "Eichi" means Wisdom, intelligence, or sophia. So, this...
