There may be some audiophiles who may disagree, but the difference is not distinguishable in a room.
The auto is a GOOD direction, because the manuals are not easy to wind...it is a beast, but a lovable beast.
The manuals are strictly for enthusiasts, very difficult to wind ...but a JOY to do it. Sort of like having tube amplifiers or old motorcycles.
