Ciao guys! Trust you all had a fabulous weekend! It's been way past awhile since i got anything here, and while there's nothing new to add, i just thought maybe it'll be good for a photo recap of the few PAMs that i have gotten through the years. Nothing ...

my top 3...

 By: gensiulia : October 14th, 2012-11:21
...in your collection: 1. 249 2. 232 3. 339 thanks for sharing and sincere congrats.

Thats a nice pick of 3!

 By: BluNotte : October 14th, 2012-17:51
Does the 349 not interest you? Is it because of the dial design? For me because i am usually a movement orientated person, the 349 is definitely one of my top picks! Also not to forget the almighty 300! Ciao Stephen

nothing against 349...

 By: gensiulia : October 15th, 2012-00:06
... i love the cali dial and i think it's one of the few pams with a nice collocation of the little seconds (usually I don't like that 9 is replaced...i like more added, like in 127, 217 etc etc). perhaps the only think that doesn't convice me is the tita...

Really?

Ciao Chris, So why is it that you dont like the titanium case? I find that this is one of the factor that makes it stand apart! I mean SS is just common, while precious metals, as much as i absolutely adore Platinum doesnt suit a military tool watch. But ...

I really love...

 By: gensiulia : October 15th, 2012-13:51
...the visual impact of titanium, maybe I do not love its light weight (which should be an advantage). Speaking of military aesthetics I prefer PVD ... or composite. I've never had a titanium watch, but it is true that it scratches easily? ;) of course I'...

Ahh i see!

 By: BluNotte : October 15th, 2012-17:39
Ciao Chris, I definitely agree about the composite part, especially PAM's now rare 339, is very unique and iv had zero of those fading problems with mine( which btw was one of the 1st delivery in the world). I can't do any PAMs that is historically incorr...

i unerstamd...

...what you mean, and it is the same reason for my change of heart. maybe i'll take a 390 sooner or later...i like the semplicity of the dial, the color, and of course, the 2 lines up...i don't realy like a 210 rad dial for this reason. Details are everyh...

Wish you luck on that!

dont forget to share photos of the new arrival with us when it does, whatever you end up with! Ciao Stephen

PAM372 all the way for me

 By: AnthonyTsai : October 14th, 2012-11:36
It's pure Panerai IMO! Even if Panerai made a PAM372 w/ tobacco dial, I think the black dial variant would be better. Now if they put in a Rolex movement in the tobacco dial version, that would be a different story :) Cheers, Anthony

+++1. :)

Haha!

 By: BluNotte : October 14th, 2012-17:51
If OP ever did another Rolex movement thing, boy i dont know whats gonna happen out there! Ciao Stephen

That is quite a comeback!

 By: Hororgasm : October 15th, 2012-19:35
and great to have you back!! my favorite from your range is still the 341, and i know i am in the minority best, Horo

I love that one too!

 By: BluNotte : October 16th, 2012-02:45
Ciao mate, The fact that alot of people doesnt like that so much makes it much better for me! At least i know im one of the few who can pull it off with confidence! Good on ya! Stephen

Whoever criticize it's size simply doesn't get it.

 By: Hororgasm : October 16th, 2012-04:56
My humble view is that anything more then 45mm is big, and it doesn't matter if it is 46, 48, 50, 53 or 58mm....it's the conceptual qualities and product integrity that matters. I can understand the collector who sports a 36cm saying it's big, and not the...

Right you are!

Stephen! It has been a while! that 349 and the 294 are just yummy and rare birds! Hope you are well! I am not lucky enough for a 449 but 448 I am hoping to replace my departed 249! PHil

Good to hear from you again too!

 By: BluNotte : October 16th, 2012-20:11
Hi Phil! Things are good here, just very busy! How about you? Oh yea, you couldnt get the 449 but you can get the 448? Thats a nice one too, although due to the fact that i would have too many pieces with the P.3000 movement, i decided on just one, and of...

Been a while, indeed....

Rather than a preference, I'd have a question. There's no "trizio", Pre-V, Pre-A model in your collection. Any particular reason? By now, I thought you might have been bitten by the T-Swiss-T bug.. :-) Ciao - Sergio

I'm appalled you STILL dont know?!

 By: BluNotte : October 17th, 2012-17:44
Ciao Sergio! haha just kidding mate, but seriously you havent been reading my past posts! The main reason i dont buy those PreV, As, is that they are size wise historically incorrect! I only purchase PAMS that are executed to their original size, that is ...

Oh well, in that case, my question changes into....

 By: sergio : October 18th, 2012-01:46
What is the 292 doing in your collection? :-) As for your posts, I've started frequenting this forum..after...you and I consider normal having missed some of your...preceeding scribbles..hahahaha Ciao - Sergio

Sharp eye on that one

 By: BluNotte : October 18th, 2012-17:36
Ciao, I have to add that the 292 isnt MINE per say, but i got it for my dearest mother, as i did several other watches too! Must have been too excited uploading the shots i clicked on that as well! I have 3 PAMS that are under the 47mm range, all for mamm...
