I told myself I wasn't even going to attempt taking pictures, but once I had these pieces on I couldn't resist.

Some of my thoughts

372: Not much to say that hasn't been said already. Everything about this watch is just right. It's hard to believe, but it looks much better in person than in photos. On the wrist, it's right at home.

375: Very very nice. To me, it was a bit overshadowed by some of the other pieces. I think the composite and ceramic cases need to be in 47mm for both Lums and Rads. The dark, matte colors really reduce the visual sizes of the watch. I finally saw a 317 and 292, both of which seemed slightly smaller than I was expecting. The 386 (312 in composite) also looked smaller.

379 Rose gold Rad. I know rose gold is kind of a stretch for the brand but this watch is gorgeous. The dial is fantastic, as is the P3000. This is begging to be in SS and would be a great compliment to the 232.

376 White gold Cali. Simply stunning. brown dial, gold hands, huge p3000 caliber, it's a really special piece.

373 Platino: When I first saw this I found it a little weird. Seeing it in person was amazing though. The 47mm case is big and very heavy, filled with the massive P 3000 caliber. But the dark brown dial is so so minimal and elegant . It wears very big and bold on the wrist, while still being elegant. I wouldn't be surprised this dial shows up next year in steel piece.

382 Bronzo. The warmth of this material is really hard to capture. It kind of glows in your hand while being very solid and robust feeling. I loved this piece. The green color on the dial is hardly noticeable. It's very subdued and works perfectly with the bronze color case. In some photos, it looks almost pine green, but it's really more of a pale olive drab.

All the other stuff SIHH was there, but these were the stand outs to me.

A big thanks to Anthony, PuristS and Panerai for hosting such a fun event. All of the the 47mm LEs and the 372 are so nice. I was most surprised by the 368 in person. If I had to choose between a 217 and 368 I would have to take both ) because to me they ...

Man, I regret not being able to make what would've been my first Panerai event. I just couldn't get out of the flood-racked DC to make it to NYC in time. Post those pictures, please!
