Advanced pleasure... (Patek 5550 inside)

Not the Anniversary watch but a medicine against my nightmares.
A couple of weeks ago my AD offered me an opportunity to choose an Anniversary piece - either the World Time or the Chronograph. Hard thinking begun...
After a some days I replied to the question "which one you might like?" as follows:
"It is too hard to decide. Last time you offered me a special watch was in autumn 2013. Then I replied that my wife is pregnant and I need to buy a new house. It's not the right time to buy a special watch just now. Since then I have regretted that reply and I call the watch you offered my Nightmare Watch."
I sent this reply on Saturday afternoon. I think it was two weeks ago.
On Sunday, when the AD's shop was closed I go a most surprising reply:
"I kept the watch you wanted in the back of my safe waiting for you. You can still get it if you want."
I was astonished! To keep a watch waiting for my possible purchase for 18 months! What could I say?...
I knew the reply: I transferred the official purchase price within days, ordered the flight tickets, sat in the plane for a couple of hours and went to see the AD. The whole watch packet was still unopened, we opened it and noticed that the strap is too short. The Manager said: "Don't worry. I ordered the shiny brown in your length already plus two others. However, I happen to have one navy blue made to your measurements, 85x125, here. Can we fix that to the watch and next time you are in town, you'll get the brown plus some others."
So we did. The watch I got was just what I expected. I will post some wrist shots later. The strap was assembled and then the Manager took me for a wonderful lunch. I was, unfortunately a bit time pressed because I needed to catch my flight.
I arrived home after 1 am last night after a very hard day but all 3.5 hours onboard the plane went fast just admiring the watch. And have to admit that I had difficulties to go to sleep..
I am still totally speechless when thinking about the overall experience and the service I got. There is no other watch brand than Patek Philippe capable of giving me such strong emotional moments.
Here it comes, the 5550:
This used to be my Nightmare Watch because I replied 18 months ago "no thanks" when I had an opportunity to buy it. Now when I have the watch, it has converted to my Dream Watch.
Best, Kari
