4. Grand Seiko - the current line up

Jun 29, 2014,03:39 AM

Enjoy the current line-up (a part of) Grand Seiko.
For details, please refer to:
www.grand-seiko.com

Hi-beat Grand Seiko + multi-level movement parts model.

And the souvenirs for the visitors:

Special Grand Seiko Pin set

Leather glass case I won at the raffle.

That's it, folks!

I hope this is some sort of reference of the old and modern Grand Seiko line-ups.

Best,
Ken

Only that I am grumpy that I wasn't on the guest list ;-) I wish they would host such an event in the U.S. But for a very few die-hards, the brand is still an extreme niche product. That, of course, makes it even more attractive to me.

Great report, Ken! Loved seeing the historical pieces alongside the modern releases. The 61GS is beautiful. Maybe Seiko's most complete GS! I wonder if Seiko would ever consider selling serviced vintage pieces, like Vacheron does in NYC, in their boutique...

.. 61GS case is the most sophisticated (for the lack of the better words) in the line-up for an automatic watch. 44GS and 45GS are also my favorite case... Yeah, what a great vintage calculator watch!! Ken

What a Great Event and Fantastic Display, you're so kind Ken to share it with us and a Big Thank You. The most stand out pieces for me are the New Divers and I asked about them in March and our very own Dr. MTF was kind and gracious enough to ask Seiko...
