Crossing the huge ballroom...
Alas, the venue - River Room...oh... mysterious.
Not for long, in less than 5 minutes, the guests were streaming in.
Some of the beautiful pieces showcased at the foyer ...
Hmm... curious ...how does the pen looks like?
This 'tunnel'...like entering into a mother-ship..
Met Mr Silvio Laurenti, CEO of Caran d'Ache. He was being interviewed by the media.
A teaser ( a big one) ... still no pens to be seen.
Suddenly a soothing tune filled the air...

Showcase #1 : The Silver plated and coated with rhodium piece.
The Silver plated and coated with rhodium piece is limited to 500 pcs. Each pen is individually numbered:1-500.
The ring (reflecting) supposedly to be silver-rhodium colour. Under the halogen lighting, it looked like gold.
At the tip of the body was a sapphire dome containing a balance wheel, perfectly poised between 2 rubies.
Showcase #2 : The Gold Edition.
The ultimate 10 pieces. Each pen is individually numbered: 1-10.
A Top Wesselton WS diamond of 0.11 carats cut with 57 facets embellishes the
clip of the gold pens.
The body of the pen, which recalls the delicate gears of the finest timepieces, is made in noble metals: 18 carat gold or rhodium-coated silver. Two
cages, one decorated with gear wheels and the other with the bridges that link them, are fitted over a transparent body that reveals the flowing ink.
Showcase #3 : Another Silver plated and coated with rhodium piece.
The cap is inspired by wristwatch crowns. It is made in rhodium-coated silver or 18-carat gold, polished by hand, with a clip that suggests a watch hand, attached to a pinion.
The piston pump is set with a ruby as in a winding crown.
