Horlogerie instead of horology often creeps in as well. As long as people don't write "high horlogerie" instead of "haute horlogerie" because that doesn't feel quite right.

Why do a lot of people (watch 'journalists', forum members, etc) keep using the word Manufacture in French while speaking/writing in English?
Because there is no English word that means the same thing.
