I only snapped a couple pictures that night
Room was very dark so all photos needed flash. In any case, here was the menu for the night. We reserved the semi-private Cosmopolitan Room at Mastro's South Coast Plaza.
The pork chop looked to be the winner for the night. I had the petite filet which was very tender and cooked to perfection as always here at Mastro's SCP. I feel this Mastro's location is much better than the Beverly Hill's location.
One of the rare MB&F PuristS Chocolate Frog showed up that night! My wife saw this watch for the first time and nicknamed it the Boobie Watch :P
Looks nice on a woman's wrist don't you think?
Another Purist brought a Thomas Prescher tourbillon which many of us will probably never ever see in the flesh.
And finally the last picture I took was a wristshot of the Chopard PuristS chronograph which was flown in off of Mr. Scheufele's wrist in time for our Year End Holiday Dinner. This one wasn't for sale as it's his personal watch.
I had a great time and same with my wife. A big thanks for the LA PuristS for making the drive down to OC and to other PuristS who flew in for this event as well!

Purists Xmas parties seem to always conflict with the local families Xmas party and this is the 3rd year!!! looks like a fantastic time and some familiar faces (watches)... maybe next year! Happy Holidays Purists!!!
Inevitable choice
ocwatching It looks like this phenomenon will be inevitable. PuristSPro and family End-of-Year parties will tend to clash. Much as we like to see all our PuristS' friends, I think you will need to chose family every time... ;) MTF
