To say all and to kill any suspense, I don't get this last evolution.
Not that the watch is ugly, as I really think it is a nice one, but to be honest, I don't see its interest.
The demonstration by the pictures:
1/ The Vintage Aqualung:
2/ The FF 50Th Anniversary:
3/ The all new Aqualung:

Now, my interrogations:
- What is the interest of this latest " Aqualung "?
Aesthetically speaking, we already had a Tribute with the 50th Anniversary... The size was close, the spirit was here.
On the latest Aqualung, we have some larger and bigger indexes, which are not framed, ok, different hands, but is it enough?
- All the dials are 3 / 6 / 9 / 12 on the FF since 2003, which was the apanage of the Aqualung, which was called " 1000 feet ", by the way...
So, why not borrowing this name, too?
Where is the specificity of the Aqualung when all the recent versions, since 2003, have the same 3 / 6 / 9 / 12 dial.
- The bezel is not graduated from 0 to 15?
Not a big deal, as the FF 50 th anniversary had the same bezel, and it had a solid case back, not this strange sapphire case back, which is not very à propos, even if it allows to admire the nice movement.
- Damn crownguards! The Vintage didn't have them, I would have appreciated to, AT LEAST, see this difference, on the Aqualung!
Here, I wonder if Blancpain took the time to think about that when deciding to release the " Aqualung "...
To me, this latest version of the FF is too close to the others to justify its existence...
What I was waiting for was a Milspec, or, why not, a faithful TR 900....
Will Blancpain hear our prays, one day?
Best,
Nicolas.
