Patrick,
Thanks for the write-up of our "club watch".
There are still some available for new club members.
Just a background note about the development and future models. St Gallen took a risk in working with PuristS because we are so damned (can I say that word?) picky about our watches. We made 31 changes to their design and some of those will be incorporated in future stock St Gallen watches. Comments for 6 PuristS doctors and other healthcare professionals helped design the PPro ABR version and also to be used in future developments.
We rejected more watches at QC than "industry standard" because that may not be the standard for ourselves as customers.
We found problems with the height of the stems for hands, 'stemming' (sic geddit?) from our obsession with 3D effect of the carbon fibre and raised cartouches on the dial. Future St Gallen Rescue will have modified cases to address that space issue.
All after sales manufacturing defects are repaired without quibble or argument.
We ordered 5 times the industry figure for spare movements, just in case. I am glad to report that no new engines have been needed.....er....yet Please don't try to kill your movements to prove me wrong!
The plastic buckle is NOT available to public as they were for PuristS as beta testers to address comfort in future models. "Watch" this space......
Regards,
MTF
