They are far, far from being inexpensive, they are as expensive as Hermes leathergoods, BUT they have substantial horological value in terms of construction and finish. The movements are Vaucher, the same folks who make the Richard Mille automatic calibres, and they are finished more elaborately than RM. The dials and cases are well made, one triple calendar model from the Dressage collection has a mother of pearl dial that was quite impressive. Hermes watches are somewhat like their leather goods, very well made, quality beyond reproach, but price to value ratio may be better elsewhere but that is a matter of personal taste and budget; they are not at the extreme end of poor price to value though (and this is where I put the RM005 and RM010).
