Not really connaisseur, but passionate...
The good thing is that you have the possibility to try it, to live with it, and to make your mind about the interest you can have on such watches.
If Vintage begins to sing to you very loud, so you're in danger! LOL
To buy it is aother thing.
Let's say that I'd rather go on a non painted first Rolex, as a 1675, 16750 GMTs or a 5513 Sub.
A bit more expensive, but as for a first watch, these would have my preference.
If the dial was not repainted, my answer would have been a bit different...
But hey, that's just my opinion...
