Thanks you Andrew for this thread and the work, it's an excellent idea as Gary is a famous and active Pp participant.
Gary,
Your lifestyle reported here brings enthusiasm as we read this. I imagine everyone has good or bad days but you seem to always look forward and try to live every moment. You seem to be an unweary and always optimistic man whose course of action is Carpe Diem.
As I read the thread I immediatly thought about you love for Operas, the Reverso MR and your participation in a play, and asked myself : didn't you ever think about playing the sound of Papageno's music box in the "Flute enchantée" (Die Zauberflote) from Mozart with this JLC?! Something to add at your To do list
I'm happy to see that one of your creteria is whether or not you will wear the watch (even if I can understand having watches one only keeps in a place to be looking at them sometimes). But this is also my way of living this passion of ours.
As other Pp fellows seem to share it too, I fully agree with the statement you make in #16. Tastes evolve. I would add something I noticed: whatever the time you spend thinking about a specific watch, the months (years?) before purchasing it (I talked about it a liitle bit in my Nautilus review), you're never sure how it will finally evolve through time. This will not mean one did a mistake when we think about the following but our feeling is only an expression of all that we are at a precise moment.
Things go back and forth again. It's sometime a cycle, Indies-Mainstream-Indies- and so on ... The right thing is to be able to find the one that suits to the moment.
Thank you for your participation here and your good mood !
Best reagards,
Mark
