Hi Tim,

You are right, many brands oursource many things from third party smile I use to be really confuse when i first trying to figure out who, what, why and how smile But afterall, sometimes some watches just caught our eyes and we just cannot push it away because it is ETA! Or just because they didnt make the dial themselves! At the end of the day, i find that there is too much that i dont know bout the watchmaking industry and all i can say is, some of the design and innovation of watches just doesnt stop to amaze me smile I like Richard Mille a lot but just because the RM011 have the same engine as a ML Flyback Annual doesnt mean i dont like Richard Mille smile But i like this 016 more than the 011 smile

Cheers and just my 2c smile

Yes ! The MB&F comes to mind instantly ........

 By: GH1 : March 27th, 2008-09:58
still they look pretty cool although Ive always had problems with a square shaped watch like B&R. But these are 44 by 50 so maybe I will have a mind change if I can see them in the metal . It will be interesting to find out how much they cost . George

Why MB&F? When Hautlence could do as well.....

Photo by Foversta The shape of human wrist / forearm and the need for more space by watchmakers has resulted in only one logical and ergonomic solution - a lateral solution - make the case grow along the axis of the forearm. This design device has been us...

I don't like at all... 1st, are these watches wearable? I doubt a lot, due to the size, and the shape of the watch... 2/ The design...Doesn't do nothing to me...Just don't understand it... I don't like it at all...BR wants to do like some independants, po...

The only "innovation" I see is putting a flyback chrono module into a Max Busser inspired lay out and design with Hautlance movement finishing. If I have any credit to give, the grand minuteur does have an interesting dial lay out. And don't get me starte...

As much as I like their simple watches, they are NOT a Haute Horology house, and the use of BNB for technical wizardry smacks of pure marketing, which is fine. Just don't try to pull the wool over our eyes. In this day and age of the web, data & info trav...

Hi Nicolas Just like to share my 2c about your questions. 1/ Yes the watch is definitely wearable Of course, not for everyone but it isnt that big or 'overdone'. AP did a huge Offshore, Lange did a huge 31, JLC did a huge Reverso and BR did a Grand Minuteu...

Just as a counterpoint to all the above narky comments about B&R copying MBF,

I might point out that the case design of this watch is lifted straight from Bell & Ross' own BR01 Tourbillon, which was released at least one year ago, maybe two. The MBF Horological Machine no. 2 was only revealed to the world a few months ago. So who i...

I really like B&R for the BR0 series. Very iconic! They kept things simple and that is an essense for me. I ended up buying both the BR01-94 and BR02. Will I buy more of the newer complicated designs.... hmmm, maybe not I just hope, B&R keeps things simpl...

Totally agreed...
