As much as I like their simple watches, they are NOT a Haute Horology house, and the use of BNB for technical wizardry smacks of pure marketing, which is fine. Just don't try to pull the wool over our eyes.
In this day and age of the web, data & info travels way too easily and speedily, to not be honest about products. As I see it, it is still the MO of many of these watch brands, to create perceived value with "rare and technically difficult" watches in order to boost the brands prestige amongst the watch buyers. This strategy worked prior to the web, when the info wasn't easily available, but now the game is up and I think a more honest tact taken by watch companies would only help them in the long run. Maybe give credit to the geniuses at BNB for their work in the Tourbillon???
The potential fall out as I see it is a more cynical buying public, who once realising the game that is being played, will tend to shy away with their hard earned dollars/euro/pounds etc. for a more pure or honest product.
I think GAZ isn't too far off the mark! Did make me laugh, thanks for that.

I do like the BR1 BTW,

still they look pretty cool although Ive always had problems with a square shaped watch like B&R. But these are 44 by 50 so maybe I will have a mind change if I can see them in the metal . It will be interesting to find out how much they cost . George

I really like B&R for the BR0 series. Very iconic! They kept things simple and that is an essense for me. I ended up buying both the BR01-94 and BR02. Will I buy more of the newer complicated designs.... hmmm, maybe not I just hope, B&R keeps things simpl...
