- Zenith - 6. i think the more average vintage pieces are elevated by the excellent chronographs and the 135.
- Movado - 4. very good quality. vintage collectors don't seem to love them enough.
- Omega - 7. although it is a brand i love, the current prices for pedestrian examples are outlandish. the market in forgeries and terrible redials will come to hurt the reputation in the vintage collecting world.
- Universal - 6. like zenith, the non-complicated models are more pricey than they should be considering the quality.
- Longines - 4. five years ago i would have given them a 1, but interest certainly seems to have risen. newer models of good quality will have that effect.
- JLC- 5. i'm guessing here. i know little about the brand.
- Rolex - 8. i don't get it. never have, and quite possibly never will.
- Patek - 5. i don't travel in this stratosphere, so i feel unqualified to respond.
- VC - see patek
- AP - ditto
ask any devotee of vintage watches and you'll get a new opinion as to which brand is the most under-rated. i, as my name implies, believe eterna to be at least a 2 or 3 on your scale. they are pure vintage joy.
